Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking experienced data scientists/engineers to tackle challenging problems across multiple mission domains, with an emphasis on data analysis, machine learning, and visualization for national security applications.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with several years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain DOE Q and SCI clearances. Onsite work is required for this posting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a group of researchers/engineers solving difficult scientific problems for national security.
• Apply state-of-the-art techniques which solve the most challenging data analysis problems for a wide array of customers.
• Work collaboratively with customers to understand requirements, available data and mission need.
• Contribute to research and development, publishing and presenting to advance groundbreaking work.
