Job summary

Cotality is hiring a data scientist to design and implement machine learning models on large datasets and build analytics for client services and product enhancements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks, develop data pipelines, and create dashboards. The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong Python/R/Java skills, and proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (DS/Statistics/CS/Math).
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, R or Java.
• Experience with big data and unstructured data sources.
• Strong data manipulation with Pandas/NumPy/SciPy.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch/scikit-learn).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated machine learning algorithms and models for large datasets.
• Develop methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured big data sources.
• Create predictive models and insights for client services and product improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and guide complex projects.
• Evaluate and adopt new data science technologies to enhance analytics.
