Qualifications

• Expert in multiple statistical software including R, Python, Julia, MATLAB, and pandas with scikit-learn.
• SQL expertise.
• Experience creating data visualizations with Tableau/Power BI/RShiny/plotly/d3.js.
• Big Data experience with Hadoop or Spark.
• Deep learning with TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python) or optimization languages (AMPL, GAMS, AIMMS, OPL).
• Data science methods for data architecture, cleaning, feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
• Modeling large-scale optimization problems and efficient algorithms.
• Familiarity with NLP, ML, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data including text.
• Strong communication and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and business understanding.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Experience building LLM-powered apps, RAG pipelines, prompt design and evaluation.
• Experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs using LoRA/QLoRA.

Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets to solve non-routine analysis problems end-to-end.
• Engineer analysis pipelines and develop understanding of data structures and metrics.
• Research and engineer ML/AI methods to improve product quality, including forecasting and customer segmentation.
