Job summary

Fantom Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop AI/ML capabilities for mission-critical defense and intelligence programs. You will lead data-driven analysis, build scalable models, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant deployment.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and willingness to obtain a polygraph; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive relevant experience is expected, with strong Python and SQL skills and cloud exposure (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Willing to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with AI/ML.
• Proficient in Python, large data sets, advanced SQL; AWS and Azure exposure.
• Strong technical expertise with mentorship responsibilities and delivering process optimization.
• Cross-team collaboration and secure software development practices.

• Create AI capabilities to power intelligent products and data-driven decision making.
• Advance ML lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering to validation and refinement.
• Monitor system health, user metrics, performance, and operational availability.
