Job summary

Flix in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in our Commercial & Marketing Intelligence team. You will own the design and execution of causal experiments to inform global marketing budget decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data science or quantitative research.
• Design and evaluate causal experiments such as geo/time-series.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and BI tools.
• Able to present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in marketing measurement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, run, and improve geo-based, time-based, and synthetic control experiments.
• Apply causal inference methods to measure incremental impact on bookings and revenue.
• Build a test-and-learn program across paid channels.
• Contribute to attribution models and benchmarks.
• Translate results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Review designs and help set internal standards for measurement.
