Alma is seeking a Data Scientist to enhance Revenue Cycle Management processes through machine learning and analytics. The role involves building predictive models, conducting A/B tests, and collaborating across teams to drive product improvements. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree and experience in data science, with a strong focus on SQL and programming in R or Python.

The Data Science team helps Alma achieve its mission by leveraging data to inform business strategy and drive product innovations. In this role, you will apply your expertise in machine learning and analytics to advance Alma’s capabilities in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), which is the domain dedicated to making insurance claims processing more accurate and efficient. By using ML to automate manual processes, Alma can more effectively scale our insurance operations. Examples of projects include building ML models to predict coverage eligibility, financial responsibility, and claim submission errors. You will also leverage your skills in analytics and experimentation to identify new opportunities to improve RCM processes. This is a cross-functional role where you will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and designers to define and execute on the RCM product roadmap.

Salary Band: $160,000-$190,000
