Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field with 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s in non-quantitative field with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses including data modelling and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformations and automated processes.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, including Airflow and dbt.
• Experience in Hybrid-Cloud environments; Git/Azure/Terraform and CI/CD desirable.
• Ability to integrate and clean data from disparate sources into reliable datasets.
• Excellent communication to explain analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Energy industry or regulated setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to collect, transform, and store data from various sources using Azure, SQL, and Python.
• Assemble data sets that meet business requirements within the LFA platform.
• Develop and maintain the LFA technology platform, including cloud assets and reporting.
• Automate manual procedures and optimize data delivery for forecasters and users.
• Support data products that meet regulatory plans and forecast development needs.
• Collaborate with forecasters and stakeholders on data-related issues and requirements.
