Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical/sciences, CS, business, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Five years of experience working with data and applying analytical data modeling methods.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance business and claims systems; experience with data modeling tools including SQL, dbt, and MS Excel; familiarity with SAS/R/Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads domain research, analysis and shares findings with senior team members and internal stakeholders.
• Develops governed data models and dbt pipelines to transform and organize data.
• Queries, manipulates and validates large datasets from internal and external sources.
• Ensures data quality and performs validation with tests; analyzes data quality impact on downstream analytics.
• Acts as consultant to clients on reporting, analytics, or research issues.
• Maintains and troubleshoots data pipelines and databases.
• Collaborates with team to address complex business challenges.
