Join an excitingteam as a Senior Data Scientist, where you'll lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that support retail strategy and execution. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, influence business decisions with data-driven insights, and mentor fellow data scientists. Worksite Location:Onsite in Eden Prairie, MN

• 4 days onsite / 1 day remote (Friday)

Salary Range:

• $130-$160K + Bonus

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and scale predictive and prescriptive models to support decision-making across retail operations.
• Partner with teams in sales, marketing, supply chain, and IT to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling visual stories for business stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of innovation and learning.
• Build production-ready solutions using tools such as Python, Google BigQuery, Oracle, Tableau, and Power BI.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data science, including model development and deployment
• Strong programming skills and experience with large-scale data environments
• Proven ability to develop business-relevant solutions in a CPG or retail setting
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills

Preferred:

• Master's degree in a quantitative field
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Oracle
• Familiarity with Python IDEs (e.g., PyCharm, Jupyter, Anaconda)
• Experience developing production-grade machine learning models
• Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working with syndicated retail or POS data (e.g., Nielsen, Circona)
