Job summary

Talentify is assisting a major utility client in Oakland, CA, to recruit a Principal Data Scientist for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on predictive modeling, risk analytics, and ML/AI solutions using PySpark, Python, and cloud platforms.

Hybrid onsite presence is required, with roughly one day on site per week. The successful candidate will design, implement, and document scalable analytics, mentor teams, and communicate results to senior leadership while navigating complex data

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, ML, CS or related field required.
• Doctorate degree preferred for advanced research leadership.

Responsibilities
