NBCUS Next Beauty Co-Lab LLC is seeking a data scientist to partner with client strategists and media buyers. You will translate data into actionable insights, build ML models for audience segmentation, and collaborate across teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on analytics and data-driven storytelling in a hybrid office setup. Requires 1–2 years of experience, a quantitative degree, and proficiency in SQL and Python, with cloud experience on GCP or AWS.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing fields.
• Advanced quantitative degree or intensive bootcamp is preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud computing such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

Responsabilités

• Explore and analyze datasets to derive client-specific insights.
• Uncover audience insights and guide non-technical stakeholders.
• Formulate analytics plans and iterate with client feedback.
• Translate quantitative results into actionable insights and storytelling.
• Hands-on machine learning for audience segmentation/extension.
• Develop tools to process, visualize, and share data across teams.
• Evaluate new data and tools; navigate partner cloud platforms.
