Job summary

DoorDash is seeking experienced Data Scientists to guide measurement, strategy, and decision-making across the Analytics team. You will uncover insights from large datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations affecting revenue, growth, and operations.

You will mentor junior analysts, build experiments, and report on essential metrics with executive dashboards, collaborating with engineering to monitor logging and data quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or related role.
• Experience with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models.
• Proficiency with SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis using Matlab, R, SAS or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other tools.
• Mentor junior analysts on advanced methods and solving challenges.
• Produce recommendations and use statistics to validate findings.
• Provide insights to leaders on marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends.
• Identify metrics levers to influence key business metrics.
