Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Data Scientist with Gen AI expertise to build production-grade AI systems in a fast-moving environment in Houston, TX.

The role focuses on prompt engineering, evaluation, observability, grounding validation, and tool orchestration using AWS Bedrock, Airflow, and Python. 6-month engagement with flexible bill-rate discussions based on C2C/W-2/1099.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade AI systems.
• Strong Python production experience.
• Hands-on with Gen AI and LLMs in real projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade Generative AI systems.
• Engineer prompts and tool prompts with versioning and evaluation.
• Ensure observability, ground-truth setup, and hallucination reduction.
• Manage context, grounding validation, and multi-step reasoning workflows.
• Oversee tool orchestration and agent-based workflows.
• Collaborate using AWS Bedrock, Airflow, and Python in production.
