Job summary

Electronic Arts is seeking an experienced data scientist to lead end-to-end ML projects focused on detecting cheating, fraud, and account abuse. You will build scalable signals using gameplay telemetry and behavioral data, and partner with engineering to productionize models.

You will mentor junior data scientists, translate complex analytics into actionable insights, and collaborate with security, product, and operations teams to improve platform safety and player trust.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science, ML, or related analytics fields with proven outcomes.
• Strong Python or R and SQL proficiency; production ML experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end ML projects from problem to deployment.
• Ability to translate data into scalable models, dashboards, and decisions.
• Collaborative track record with engineering, product, security, fraud, or ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and develop models to detect cheating, fraud, account abuse, and platform risks.
• Build scalable features, signals, and detection frameworks using telemetry and behavioral data.
• Investigate patterns, translate insights into models and dashboards, and reduce false positives.
• Establish model evaluation and drift practices; partner with engineering to productionize solutions.
• Collaborate with product, security, anti-cheat, fraud, game, and operations teams.
• Mentor junior data scientists and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
