Job summary

Electronic Arts in Austin is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end data science initiatives, from problem framing to deployment, focusing on detecting cheating, fraud, and account abuse across the platform.

You'll build scalable features using telemetry and behavioral data, collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams, and mentor junior data scientists while driving measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related analytical field.
• Strong Python or R and advanced SQL.
• Experience leading end-to-end ML projects from problem definition to production.
• Expertise building models using large-scale behavioral, transactional, telemetry data.
• Strong understanding of model evaluation, calibration, and monitoring.
• Experience translating business problems into scalable analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and develop models to detect cheating, fraud, account abuse, botting, and other platform risks.
• Build scalable features and detection frameworks using telemetry and behavioral data.
• Investigate abuse patterns and translate insights into models, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Establish best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and drift detection with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product, security, anti-cheat, fraud, and operations teams.
• Mentor junior data scientists and communicate insights to diverse audiences.
