Creditstar Group is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the data science framework across products. You will lead data-driven decision making, design experiments, and collaborate with Risk and Product teams to unlock insights across eight countries.

The role emphasizes autonomy, mentorship, and a startup mindset in a fast-growing fintech environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data science, strong SQL/Python skills, ML knowledge, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years professional experience related to data science.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics or Statistics.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python (or a similar scripting language)
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good project management skills
• Proactive attitude, sense of ownership, autonomous but able to coach others
• Startup mindset and willingness to work in a fast-evolving environment
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Passion about what you do

Responsibilities

• Build models based on data to predict customers' payment behavior
• Design A/B experiments, analyze results, and provide recommendations
• Analyze complex data with stakeholders to inform business decisions
• Review work and mentor data analysts and data scientists
• Share knowledge and train on data processing and analytics methodologies
• Define data science strategy and align with management and teams
• Lead data science projects across products
• Collaborate with data engineers to improve data infrastructure
• Research and implement best practices across product teams
