Qualifications

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of SQL, scripting (Python) or statistical software experience.
• 3+ years of ML modeling and data analysis.
• 1+ years guiding a group of researchers.
• 1+ years evaluating AI systems.
• 1+ years creating educational content.
• Master's degree in STEM or equivalent experience in STEM.
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mathematical, statistical and optimization models to optimize Delivery Network Topology.
• Manage several high-impact projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define opportunities to optimize topology.
• Communicate data-driven insights through technical/business papers.
• Leverage LLMs to improve explainability and engagement with stakeholders.
• Define measurement frameworks for optimization solutions.
• Choose methods (statistical, causal, ML, LLM, hybrid) and justify trade-offs.
• Design driver-analysis explaining KPI movement across dimensions.
• Partner with teams for productionizing; ensure AWS tech stack compliance.
• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring; represent LM Planning in the DS community.
• Produce design and technical documentation.
