Job summary

Bridge Defense in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Computer Scientist to lead analytics projects, evaluate AI methodologies, and perform TEVV and AI risk mitigation.

The role requires strong experience with data analytics, ML/LLMs, and working on classified networks for defense or intelligence clients. The position demands independent work, the ability to visualize complex data for leadership, and the capacity to navigate fast-paced, constrained schedules with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products.
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI or ML validation.
• Experience with building and evaluating outputs and performance of advanced analytics, particularly LLMs and/or agentic AI.
• Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and go/no-go criteria clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with mathematical/statistical AI techniques or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data exploration and analytics projects with statistics.
• Evaluate AI methodologies to impact AI usage in strategic intelligence.
• Perform TEVV and AI risk mitigation to shape analytics future.
• Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory and predictive analysis to produce narrative products for informed decisions.
