Job summary

DeFi Alliance LLC, NYC-based accelerator for crypto and AI founders, is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our in-house engineering team. You’ll own features from requirements to production, reporting to the CTO, Carter.

You’ll build production Python systems, develop predictive models, write SQL, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that drive portfolio growth and product decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior, self-directed data scientist or analytics engineer.
• 2“Deep experience with Python and SQL.”
• Strong applied modeling judgment including feature design, evaluation, leakage, and interpretability.
• Enough data engineering depth to ship your own work and maintain production workflows.
• Clear communicator with good product judgment and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own data science and analytics end-to-end.
• Build production Python systems for data collection, enrichment, scoring, and AI-assisted research.
• Develop and improve predictive models and move successful work to production.
• Write SQL and own reporting including dashboards and recurring reports.
• Turn messy data into useful decisions for investing, portfolio support, operations, and growth.
• Work directly with stakeholders to decide what is worth building and explain findings.
