Job summary

JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics team seeks a Data Scientist Sr. Associate to own high-visibility reporting on account-opening performance across checking, savings, and CDs. You’ll present insights weekly to the CEO and leadership, and influence decisions in the monthly Business Review.

You will partner with finance, product, marketing, and data teams to ensure data quality, automate workflows, and deliver actionable insights with clear, executive-ready storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance)
• 3+ years of experience using data and analytical methods to solve complex business problems
• 3+ years of experience using SQL and at least one of SAS, Python, or R
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis and code development
• Experience building, automating, and maintaining recurring reporting with data quality and reproducibility
• Strong analytical judgment and curiosity with structured problem-solving
• Experience using data visualization to communicate trends and performance drivers
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with executives and cross-functional partners
• Strong organization and prioritization to deliver recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on account openings across checking, savings, and CDs
• Develop scalable views of performance and drivers
• Improve reporting workflows, data latency, and automation with AI tools
• Conduct ad hoc analyses evaluating business initiatives
• Synthesize analyses into concise explanations of performance and next steps
• Partner with business, finance, product, marketing, and data teams to validate results
• Present findings to senior executives and translate analyses into business insights
• Maintain a rigorous controls environment for accuracy and reproducibility
