Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist for Ranking AI within the Monetization group to advance the Ads stack. You will analyze large datasets to drive product decisions, influence roadmaps, and help translate research into production with high velocity, impacting billions in revenue.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and other teams to craft data-driven stories, set goals, forecast trends, and measure impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Multiple degrees/strong foundation in mathematics or statistics.
• PhD in analytics or related field is preferred.
• Experience querying data with SQL and scripting with Python/R.

Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets to solve challenging problems.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to inform product strategies.
• Define and measure success using key product metrics and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities and influence roadmaps with data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform and execute product investments.
