Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Data Scientist to develop ML, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets and generate data-driven insights for customers. You will prototype models, compare approaches, and translate analyses into automated analytics for production environments.

A Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required. You will collaborate with engineers and domain experts to build scalable analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science).
• An additional four (4) years of experience in software development, cloud development, analyzing datasets, or developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Significant MLOPS and Data Science background; a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in two or more areas such as designing/implementing ML, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, statistics, AI, or related software engineering with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning, data mining, statistical and graph-based algorithms to analyze datasets and generate insights.
• Prototype and compare multiple algorithms to select final models based on performance metrics.
• Translate manual analyses into automated analytics and integrate prototype algorithms into production frameworks.
