Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Sr Data Scientist to lead a high-impact team in Cary, NC. You will design and deploy production ML/GenAI solutions for marketing and customer engagement, guiding platform integration via APIs and cloud-native architectures.

You will own modeling, analysis, and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering insights that drive revenue and personalized experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years in AI/ML engineering and/or data science.
• 5+ years of insurance/financial industry experience with sales, marketing, and/or customer engagement analytics.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating production ML and/or GenAI solutions, including APIs, batch, and real-time inference.
• Experience in developing Machine Learning models using Python (preferably in the cloud)
• Familiarity with responsible AI, data privacy, bias mitigation, and model monitoring.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and Exploratory Data Analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Azure ML
• Statistical knowledge for data analysis and prediction.
• Use predictive modeling/AI to improve customer experience, revenue, ad targeting, etc.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution and a team of data scientists delivering AI/ML solutions for marketing and business engagement use cases.
• Own technical decisions, project outcomes, timelines, and production stability within a defined domain.
• Lead planning and execution of data science use cases aligned with business goals.
• Design, train, and optimize ML/DL models for marketing and business use cases.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on data-driven solutions.
• Enable seamless integration of AI capabilities via APIs, SDKs, and microservices.
• Visualize data, create reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Develop statistical models, analytics, and ML algorithms using Python and Azure.
• Stay updated with advances in AI, data science, and ML.
• Optimize platform components for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
