Job summary

Centric Software is seeking a (Senior) Data Scientist / Consultant to help leading fashion, beauty and home brands decide what to stock, promote, and price using AI‑driven analytics.

You'll pair deep data science with consulting, work directly with clients, and translate complex methods into clear business decisions. Remote-first role with global teammates, strong growth opportunities, and a focus on pricing and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analytics experience, ideally in retail or consumer products.
• Strong SQL skills and outstanding analytical instincts.
• Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Statsmodels).
• Excellent English communication to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers, consultants, and clients across onboarding projects.
• Turn business processes and customer requirements into data transformations and modeling approaches.
• Prototype with product management and take ideas to well-tested Python code.
• Align customers on data formats and transmission schedules.
