Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Statistics/Economics/Engineering or related field with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• Apply experimentation methods including time series evaluation, difference-in-difference, and synthetic control.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data extraction, cleansing, and development of predictive ML models.
• Forecast industry trends and make data-driven decisions impacting company objectives and long-term strategy.
• Foresight in roadmapping and managing high-risk data science programs, identifying data crises or changes in metrics movements.
• Apply project management frameworks (RAPID decision-making, Gantt charts) to ensure timely delivery of complex data science projects.
• Use ROI and Break-Even Analysis to determine data models/features with highest business value.
• Apply analytical frameworks (SWOT, benchmarking, root-cause analysis) to solve ambiguous problems.
• Negotiate and oversee technical resource allocation and priorities across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Refine ambiguous questions and generate hypotheses about the product using data, customers, and business context.
• Design experiments and interpret results to inform decisions.
• Define success metrics with cross-functional partners and create AI systems to monitor metric movements.
• Develop data-driven insights and work with teams to improve long-term strategy and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Scientists and Engineers to build and improve data foundations.
• Present findings to business and executive audiences.
• May telecommute.
