Uber, a global mobility platform, is seeking a Data Scientist II to turn complex data into clear insights. You will refine ambiguous questions, translate business needs into data-driven designs, and impact rider, earner, and merchant experiences worldwide.

In a fast-moving environment, you will build dashboards, monitor trends, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure reliable analytics across multiple business lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/Amplitude/Mixpanel).
• Proficient in Python or R for scalable analysis.
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing and statistical analysis.
• Ability to develop and track KPIs to measure product performance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze experiments with the web product team.
• Monitor business trends and propose solutions with stakeholders.
• Conduct deep dives to answer abstract questions about product usage.
• Develop dashboards providing insights across all lines of business touched by web platforms.
• May telecommute and collaborate across locations.
