Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Data Scientist – Business Analytics & AI to drive data-driven decision making through advanced analytics, ML, and automation. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions across business and financial domains.

In this on-site San Jose role, you will design dashboards, develop SQL models, and apply ML techniques to forecast revenue and performance, translating complex datasets into clear insights for leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data science, analytics, BI, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL proficiency with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar tools.
• Understanding of forecasting and financial concepts.
• Experience applying ML to business problems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced business and financial analysis including trend, variance, and scenario modeling.
• Build, test, and refine machine learning models to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting using Power BI.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions and communicate insights.
