Job summary

Clari + the company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own research projects and push AI for sales. You will work with a fast-growing Data Science team and collaborate with product, design, and engineering to bring research to production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI research or ML, strong NLP and agent-system expertise, and a track record mentoring others. This hybrid role requires occasional on-site presence in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Researcher, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer.
• 1+ year of experience deploying ML/AI features in production.
• Demonstrated experience owning and leading research projects, from initial scoping and experimental design to delivering prototypes or production-ready models.
• Deep expertise in AI agent systems, NLP, and classic machine learning methodologies.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for exploring and applying the latest advances in AI to solve real-world challenges for our customers. Specifically, you will:

The Data Science team consists of collaborative and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about their craft. THE SKILL SET:

• 5+ years of overall experience as an AI Researcher, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer

• 1+ years of experience with deploying ML/AI features in production

• Demonstrated experience owning and leading research projects, from initial scoping and experimental design to delivering prototypes or production-ready models.

• Deep expertise in AI agent systems, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and classic machine learning methodologies.

• Proven ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior researchers, elevating the work of the entire team.

• Experience translating complex research findings into actionable insights for cross-functional partners in product and engineering.

• Superb communication skills; you must be able to articulate complex technical concepts and advocate for strategic research directions

• Familiarity with python for data processing, ML, AI agents

• Familiarity with frameworks for agentic AI (LangGraph, Google ADK, Open AI Agents SDK etc)
