Responsibilities

• Owns and drives innovation through digitalization and technology adoption.
• Supports the development of infrastructure for digital transformation in refining.
• Provides analytics support to achieve refinery objectives across the fleet.
• Partners with sites and corporate teams on digital innovation efforts.
• Educates and trains others in data utilization; builds fleetwide capability.
• Transitions POCs into sustainable processes and tools.
• Collects, cleans, and preprocesses data from various sources.
• Develops and implements machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Performs exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide insights.
• Creates visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Advises teams on best practices for data leverage and value creation.

Experience & Education

Minimum 5 years as a data scientist, 1 year refining experience. Oil and Gas experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
