As part of the analytics team, you will work with real customer issues and data generated in real-time. Your role involves analyzing large datasets, seeing your insights create value, and improving our machine learning platform. You'll work closely with various business aspects to build our analytics process and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced machine learning algorithms to extract more value from data and benefit customers.
  • Refine and tailor our proprietary algorithms to fit different customer scenarios and our strategic vision.
  • Identify and validate new data sources to expand our core data assets.
  • Clean and prepare data using tools like PySpark, R, Python, or Excel.
  • Conduct descriptive and statistical analysis to identify valuable patterns for business decisions.
  • Prepare presentations and materials to demonstrate insights and educate customers.
  • Present findings and models to customers as a technical expert and industry insider.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with large datasets and building models for customer problems; insurance data modeling is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical modeling and parameter tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with PySpark and Excel.
  • Critical thinking, independence, and scenario analysis skills.
  • Creative, open-minded, and positive attitude toward challenges.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and pursue progress diligently.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary Range: $154,000 - $174,000
