Job summary

Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist in Andover, MA to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions, building models and algorithms for AI applications. Analyze data, propose solutions, and develop software components to implement the study.

Test and validate models, deploy solutions, and document deliverables while supporting ongoing operations. Remote eligible up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Analytics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in data analysis, or related occupation.
  • OR Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Analytics, or related field and six (6) months of experience in data analysis, or related occupation.
  • Academic internship, co-op, or work experience including: ML modelling for predictive analysis and pattern recognition; Python coding, debugging, and testing; Pandas/NumPy/Scikit-learn/Plotly usage

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI applications and models for AI solutions.
  • Analyze data and propose solutions to business problems.
  • Develop software components to implement solutions or studies.
  • Test and compare models to balance performance, data needs, and computation time.
  • Validate results against performance criteria and stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Deploy solutions and conduct extensive tests.
  • Document work and formalize deliverables.
  • Support operation, maintenance, and evolution of solutions.
  • Share project learnings with peers and update team knowledge.
  • Protect IP and capitalize knowledge through documentation.

Job description

For this U.S. based position, the expected base salary is $112,861.00 – $129,600.00 per year. Additional short-term incentive compensation is a typical part of our compensation structure and would be in addition to the above-stated range.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
