Job summary

Jobtailor, a US-based data insights firm, seeks a Data Science Product Manager to own one or more data science products that deliver business value. You will translate customer needs into data products and write technical requirements.

Coordinate with stakeholders across teams, promote usage and understanding of the product, and contribute to data science and data engineering tasks as needed. Strong communication and growth mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field with relevant work experience, or Actuarial credential/advanced degree.
• Learning and growth mindset.
• Customer-focused.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in four of: data analysis/SQL, ML, data visualization, programming, distributed computing, or healthcare.
• Independently delivering or leading the delivery of a complex analytics or data science project or product.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree and 3 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field OR Actuarial credential or Master’s degree and 2 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field OR Ph.D. in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field
