Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Scientist for Card DFS Integration to lead data science initiatives and model development across large-scale data. The role emphasizes embedding analytics into product decisions and partnering with engineers and PMs to deliver high-impact solutions.

You will work with a modern tech stack (Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark) to build, validate and deploy models that improve decisioning for card products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 7 years of analytics experience or
• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with quantitative concentration plus 5 years of analytics experience or
• PhD in a quantitative field plus 2 years of analytics experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love
• Leverage a broad stack of technologies - Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark - to reveal insights from large volumes of data
• Build machine learning models through all phases: design, training, evaluation, validation and implementation
• Translate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders

Education
