Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead biomarker analyses and data visualization. The hybrid role combines onsite and WFH days to accelerate clinical development across multiple phases.

You will develop R and Python pipelines for ADaM datasets and deliver descriptive statistics and rich visualizations to guide scientists. A strong background in statistics and biostatistics is required.

Qualifications

• MS in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering or related field with 1 year leading data science work.
• Proficient in R and Python for drug development analyses.
• Experience exploring and visualizing ADaM datasets in Spotfire.
• Ability to generate visualizations and descriptive statistics for clinical outputs.
• Ability to collaborate with scientists to interpret findings for clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver biomarker analysis expertise for clinical studies.
• Extract relevant clinical and biomarker data from diverse databases and enable advanced visualization with descriptive statistics.
• Reveal data patterns to empower real-time decisions during clinical development.
• Develop R and Python programs to extract ADaM datasets and generate tables, listings, and figures.
• Create advanced Spotfire visualizations to reveal data patterns.
