Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or similar field.
• Strong background in relational databases, big data systems, and data analytics.
• Knowledge of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms; experience with Databricks/Spark is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate heterogenous data management techniques and polystore systems, applying AI/ML to foundational data problems.
• Develop tools/frameworks to enable scalable ML models and data science across heterogeneous domains (tabular, time series, text, audio, video).
• Create distributed data processing architectures leveraging edge compute for novel use cases and applications.
• Collaborate with ATG researchers to identify data opportunities in AI/ML for Audio/Video domains.
