Job summary

DoubleVerify in New York City is seeking a Senior Data Reliability Engineer to help analyze and externalize data, monitor pipelines, and improve data quality at scale. You will design and optimize data flows, investigate tickets, and build automation to reduce manual work with Python and SQL.

You will work with Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, MongoDB, and cloud platforms, plus Kubernetes and Docker. A CS degree and 3+ years of experience are required, with a hybrid NYC-based location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent
• 3+ years of Advanced SQL and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• 3+ years Linux experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm
• 3+ years SQL/NoSQL and data warehouses (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, MongoDB)
• Cloud computing fundamentals with GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, GitLab or similar
• Strong BI/Data Warehousing knowledge (ETL, OLAP/OLTP)

Responsibilities

• Gain in-depth knowledge of data collection, processing and externalization
• Investigate and resolve client-facing tickets and data logic
• Develop automation and tooling to streamline tickets
• Script in Python and SQL extensively
• Create reports and visualizations with Splunk, Grafana
• Work with Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, MongoDB and OLTP/OLAP databases
• Collaborate across teams and participate in on-call rotation
