Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Lead Data Quality Analyst in the United States to head enterprise data quality initiatives, govern data standards, and ensure accuracy across Lakehouse architectures. You will collaborate with data engineers, stewards, and business stakeholders to establish governance and MDM alignment.

The role demands expertise in SQL, data profiling, and BI reporting, with a track record of leading data quality programs in large environments, and experience with Delta

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years in data quality, governance, or data management.
• 5+ years with SQL and data validation techniques.
• Lead data quality or governance initiatives in large-scale environments.
• Experience with data warehousing, lakehouse platforms, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with MDM platforms and practices.
• Proficient in Power BI for reporting and validation.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data quality frameworks, rules, and validation processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate ETL/ELT pipelines, Delta Lake tables, and data transformations.
• Define and monitor data quality KPIs across structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop and maintain automated data quality monitoring systems with alerts and dashboards.
• Conduct advanced data profiling and root cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Establish data quality standards, issue resolution workflows, and documentation practices.
• Partner with Data Governance teams to align quality efforts with governance policies.
• Support Master Data Management initiatives ensuring data consistency across domains.
• Define data ownership, stewardship roles, and accountability with business units.
• Lead cross-functional data quality improvement initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
• Ensure data integrity across the lakehouse architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Contribute to metadata management and data cataloging practices.
