Job summary

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer in Ukraine, Poland or Croatia. You will implement and execute tests across levels, validate datasets, and ensure data integrity within complex BI and data pipelines.

Collaborate with developers and QA, review requirements, and contribute to test plans, data setup and test artefacts to deliver high-quality software for renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills.
• Data validation techniques (row counts, checksums, before/after comparisons).
• Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Regression testing approach for DB-dependent applications.
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans).
• Bug tracking (Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how DB changes get deployed (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Strong API testing skills.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute tests at all planned levels, log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results.
• Use tests administration, monitoring, and management tools.
• Participate in test environment setup.
• Prepare and acquire test data.
• Contribute to test documentation creation/validation/update process (test cases, test plan, etc.).
• Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications to convert them into quality control process artefacts.
• Review test artefacts developed by others.
• Communicate with other Team Members.
• Report Test Progress to Stakeholders.
