Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Data Quality Senior Analyst to lead daily operations of the Coverage team and drive enterprise data quality coverage strategy. You will define and implement SQL-based rules, collaborate with data owners, and oversee QA processes to ensure data trustworthiness across regulatory, analytics, AI, and reporting needs.

The role requires advanced SQL, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the bank.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in Banking or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in data quality, establishing and improving a data quality program (e.g., DCAM).
• Understanding of data management, governance, and regulatory requirements, especially data quality coverage and monitoring of sensitive data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data quality assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, with the ability to tailor messaging, drive consensus, and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrates ability to build partnerships and collaborate to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations within the Coverage team.
• Drive organization and orchestration of tasks in the Coverage team.
• Own and drive the Enterprise Data Quality Coverage strategy.
• Serve as the senior technical expert for design, implementation, and management of DQL-based data quality rules.
• Collaborate with data owners to define and implement SQL-based rules in the Key DQ application.
• Lead internal code review and quality assurance processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions to review and enhance rule results.
• Build relationships with data owners to increase data quality support.
