Zusammenfassung

Axos Business Center is seeking an experienced Data QA Tester to join a delivery team or shared pool. You will own test design and execution for complex data items, mentor engineers, and deputise for the Data QA Lead when needed.

You will perform quality assurance across SSIS, dbt, Fivetran, Python ingestion and Databricks pipelines, defining acceptance criteria, validating data and automating checks. Agile practices and collaboration with BI developers are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in QA testing, with 3+ years in a data engineering or data warehousing environment.
• Strong SQL for data validation, reconciliation and profiling; working Python for test scripting.
• Hands-on experience testing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse loads.
• Experience with test design techniques, risk-based coverage and estimation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent for defect and test management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.

Aufgaben

• Own test design and execution for complex work items and mentor junior engineers.
• Define, prepare, execute and implement data validation, unit, integration and regression tests.
• Document defects with clear steps and reproduce evidence; drive to closure with developers.
• Contribute automated checks to the regression suite and assist automation efforts.
• Work with analysts, developers and Tableau developers to build test plans and validate outputs.
