Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is hiring an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join an Agile Data Engineering team.

You will design and implement automated testing frameworks for enterprise data platforms, including data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses on cloud platforms. You will develop automated tests for RESTful APIs, ETL processes, and BI reporting tools, collaborating with developers, data engineers, and product owners to meet quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• 2+ years with Big Data, Data Lakes, or Data Warehouses.
• Strong experience with automated testing of RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; SQL advanced.
• CI/CD and DevOps familiarity.
• Experience Snowflake and AWS preferred.
• Proven collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for data platforms.
• Build end-to-end test strategies for data pipelines and data warehousing.
• Validate quality, performance, and reliability of data pipelines and reporting.
• Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs and enterprise apps.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
• Validate ETL processes, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouse solutions.
