Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to lead the organization’s data protection strategy across classification, labeling, DLP, encryption, retention, and governance in hybrid environments.

The role partners with IT, privacy, legal, governance, and business stakeholders to mature data protection standards and roadmaps, leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises platforms.

Qualificações

• Advanced experience designing and implementing enterprise data protection capabilities including DSPM, classification, labeling, DLP, encryption, and lifecycle controls.
• Strong expertise with enterprise data protection and cloud security platforms (Microsoft Purview, M365 Information Protection, Azure data security).
• Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, retention, and governance for sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data protection strategy across classification, labeling, DLP, encryption, retention, and lifecycle governance in hybrid environments.
• Define and mature data protection standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps aligned to priorities and risk reduction.
• Serve as senior SME for data protection across Microsoft 365, Azure, on‑premises, and comparable platforms.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate data protection technologies (DSPM, information protection, DLP) across platforms.
• Promote data minimization, masking, tokenization, anonymization, and secure data handling.
