Job summary

Persona is seeking a senior engineer on the Data Products team to turn data into customer-loved products. You will own the customer-facing data platform features, from in-dashboard SQL to AI-powered analytics and large-scale data exports.

You'll build backend services and APIs, work across product, design, data science, and engineering, and mentor other engineers while shaping the technical direction of data products end to end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data-intensive products or backend services.
• Backend/full-stack experience across the stack to ship product features end to end.
• Experience with SQL and analytical data stores (Snowflake, ClickHouse).
• Experience leading product-engineering initiatives across teams and mentoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with product and design.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow customer-facing data products, from in-dashboard SQL to data exports.
• Develop AI-powered analytics tools for natural language questions.
• Build backend services, APIs, and query layers over large datasets.
• Partner with product and design to translate business needs into reliable, data-intensive features.
