Job summary

Grainger is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to guide enterprise data strategy, vision, and roadmaps. You will own critical features and the customer experience, collaborating with engineering, design, and operations to launch innovative data-enabled solutions.

You have 7+ years in data product management, with a track record delivering enterprise data capabilities for B2B customers. This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with cross-functional collaboration across North America.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a Data Product Manager or related role with agile teams.
• Experience collaborating with design, analytics, AI/ML teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong ability to design enterprise data capabilities for B2B customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a portfolio of data products enabling confident decision-making.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable data products for visibility and automation.
• Expand NA eCommerce by updating the product catalog tool for US/Canada markets.
• Operationalize the integrated platform ensuring a consistent release cadence.
• Translate customer and stakeholder needs into a clear product roadmap and specs.
• Lead engineers with clear business context and shared ownership of outcomes.
• Coordinate product launches with partners including governance and risk tradeoffs.
• Present at executive reviews with concise, audience-appropriate messaging.
• Partner with analytics, UX, PMs and operations to measure business impact.
