Want to help us help others? We’re hiring!

GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. By uniting individuals and nonprofits in one place, GoFundMe makes it easy and safe for people to ask for help and support causes—for themselves and each other. Together, our community has raised more than $40 billion since 2010.

Join us! GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager who believes in the impact of GoFundMe and is passionate about our mission to help people help others. As a key member of our Data Platform team, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to define solutions, contribute to vision and strategy, and execute projects that bring data to life in service of our mission. Data is at the heart of everything we do—from unlocking product innovation through deep insights into user behavior and powering robust A/B testing, to fueling the development of cutting-edge machine learning models. As a Senior Data Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing this dynamic data ecosystem.

The Job

  • Own key projects in the data platform roadmap. You will be responsible for all stages of your product development and delivery, including: ideation and strategy, research, business modeling, technical specifications, building, launching, measuring, optimizing and scaling. Some of the work will focus on brand new products/features and other aspects will include optimization and growth of existing products. You will independently manage all aspects of your projects, balancing time, quality, resources, and scope efficiently.
  • Develop best practices for event instrumentation and lend expertise to support product teams across the company to create clean, actionable data.
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development by bringing a strong perspective grounded in customer needs and data expertise. Drive and lead product initiatives working closely with your manager and your tribe, and make meaningful impact in the company and the greater market.
  • Partner with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, user-friendly data products and infrastructure.
  • Champion data usability, access, quality, and governance, making sure our data products are well-integrated, documented, and easy to use.
  • Bring a user-first mindset and be a strong advocate for both internal and external data consumers.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with cross-functional partners, keeping them aligned and engaged throughout the product lifecycle.

You

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on data products, data platforms, or data infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to drive execution of complex projects, with experience shipping successful data-centric features or platforms.
  • Proficient working with analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel), and familiar with data pipelines and warehouses
  • Skilled at collaborating with technical teams, understanding trade-offs, and advocating for scalable and pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining clear product requirements, aligning cross-functional teams, and iterating based on feedback.
  • Humble, curious, and always seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; a technical background or MBA is a plus.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Make an Impact: Be part of a mission-driven organization making a positive difference in millions of lives every year.
  • Innovative Environment: Work with a diverse, passionate, and talented team in a fast-paced, forward-thinking atmosphere.
  • Collaborative Team: Join a fun and collaborative team that works hard and celebrates success together.
  • Competitive Benefits: Enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
  • Holistic Support: Enjoy financial assistance for things like hybrid work, family planning, along with generous parental leave, flexible time-off policies, and mental health and wellness resources to support your overall well-being.
  • Growth Opportunities: Participate in learning, development, and recognition programs to help you thrive and grow.
  • Commitment to DEI: Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing initiatives and employee resource groups.
  • Community Engagement: Make a difference through our volunteering and Gives Back programs.

We live by our core values: impatient to be great, find a way, earn trust every day, fueled by purpose. Be a part of something bigger with us!
