Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform to own architecture and delivery of scalable batch and streaming data pipelines in AWS. You will shepherd ETL/ELT workflows, mentor engineers, and drive CI/CD with IaC practices while upholding data integrity across the ecosystem.

You will advance analytics powering thousands of commercial contractors, applying Python/SQL expertise and modern AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and reliability in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data models for analytics and BI needs.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL in AWS data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, testing, and maintenance of scalable Python code for data ingestion, transformation, and processing across streaming and batch architectures.
• Design and optimize data models and transformation logic for advanced analytics.
• Build and tune high-performance ETL/ELT workflows using AWS DMS, Kinesis, and related technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline issues while ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish documentation standards.
