Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer in Doral, FL to design secure, scalable data platforms and orchestrate data pipelines across teams. You will work with architects, analysts, and engineers to ensure interoperability and reliability, while maintaining documentation and baselines.

Qualifications include 5+ years in data platforms or software engineering, cloud experience, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes; a current security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, IT, or related field with 5+ years in data platform or software engineering.
• Proven experience building and managing large-scale data platforms, cloud architectures, or distributed data systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable data platform architectures and infrastructure.
• Build, optimize, and monitor data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to define data interoperability standards.
• Tune system performance, plan capacity, and troubleshoot across distributed data platforms.
• Maintain baselines, automated configuration controls, and platform documentation.
• Evaluate new data platform technologies and drive process improvements.
