Job summary

Alkami is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform to design, build, and operate backend-heavy features enabling secure data access for financial institutions. You will partner with data engineers, product, and design to turn Data Platform capabilities into reliable customer products.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs, data egress workflows, and scalable data models with strong focus on security, observability, and production readiness. Remote-friendly US role.

Qualifications

• Production services or APIs experience with backend or full-stack development.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency and backend development ability.
• REST APIs, asynchronous data flows, and relational SQL modeling.
• Experience in cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and data product work.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Data Platform feature delivery from design to production support.
• Build and maintain REST APIs delivering marketing platform data to BI tools.
• Develop backend services and data flows moving data through queues and databases.
• Design reliable data models and API contracts with validation and observability.
