Zensurance is seeking a data platform engineer to build and maintain internal tooling for the data team, including CI/CD, dashboards, and production-ready infrastructure. You will contribute to the conversational analytics product and manage Snowflake via Terraform, ensuring secure, scalable access and data quality across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering with data infrastructure experience, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, and familiarity

Formación

• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in data platforms/infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; Python is valuable.
• Experience with data ingestion platforms (Fivetran or Airbyte).
• Strong fundamentals: version control, code reviews, reproducible builds.
• Experience implementing secure data practices to meet compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain internal tooling for the data team (CLIs, automation, dashboards).
• Contribute to development and deployment of the conversational analytics product.
• Define and manage Snowflake infra as code via Terraform, including access controls and monitoring.
• Extend and maintain the data catalog (OpenMetadata) ensuring discoverability and trust.
• Own data quality infra: testing, monitoring, and alerting on freshness and completeness.
• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows for dbt deployments and data quality checks.
• Establish reproducible local and development environments for the team.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead on data platform architecture with security and scalability in mind.
• Maintain security-first engineering practices across platforms.
