Job summary

fal is building the data infrastructure that turns internal systems and partner APIs into a clear view of cost, margin, and performance. You’ll work across production infrastructure and vendor costs, enabling near real-time analytics for the entire company and freeing engineers to focus on product development.

You will partner with infra, data, and product teams to design durable data contracts, instrument critical paths, and land low-latency analytics pipelines that scale with a fast-moving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software or data engineer.
• Experience shipping code into production infrastructure safely.
• Experience building ingestion pipelines into data warehouses.
• Strong SQL and dbt proficiency; familiar with orchestration tooling.

Responsibilities

• Instrument core infrastructure to capture signals and land changes safely.
• Build ingestion pipelines into BigQuery and a low-latency store like ClickHouse.
• Design and operate the ETL backbone for cost, margin, and usage analytics.
• Stand up a low-latency write path for analytics telemetry.
• Collaborate to define data contracts and instrumentation standards.
